SUMMARY:Webinar: Demystifying Barrier-Strategy Mapping: A Case Study Using CFIR ERIC
DESCRIPTION:About the event:\nJoin the Professional Learning and Resource committee this April for the webinar Demystifying Barrier-Strategy Mapping: A Case Study Using CFIR ERIC ( https://cfirguide.org/choosing-strategies/ ) with PLR Chair Alana Delaforce.\nThis webinar will present a case study of using “implementation enhancement plans” that are developed and co-designed with hospitals to improve the uptake of a digital fall prevention platform. This case study was informed by the CFIR-ERIC frameworks to assist with barrier and strategy mapping.\n \nLearning Objectives:\n\n\nUnderstand how you can integrate barrier-strategy mapping at any point\n\n\nBecome familiar with the process to co-design enhancement plans\n\n\nUnderstand how to measure the impact of the plan on intervention uptake\n\n\n \nSpeaker bio:\nAlana has a background in perioperative nursing and undertook doctoral work in the implementation of patient blood management guidelines. She has deep expertise in the conduct of robust implementation trials that are informed by well-designed implementation plans. She currently leads multidisciplinary work within CSIRO ( https://www.csiro.au/en/ ), where she partners with clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and industry to design, test, and embed evidence‑based solutions in complex health systems. Her work spans the full translation pathway — from co‑design and clinical insight, through rigorous research and evaluation, to implementation in real‑world settings.\n \nRegistration Costs:\nGIS Members: FREE\nNon-members: Between $5-$10 depending on location\n \nRegister here ( https://globalimplementation.org/plr-webinar-registration/ )!\n \n \n
