GIS Membership Committee – Quick Consultation Council (OCEANIA) – November 6 at 1:00pm AEST
PLEASE NOTE: All times reflected below are for Australia Eastern Standard Time (i.e. GMT +10:00).
The GIS Membership Committee is excited to announce the FIRST QCC meeting in the Oceania Region!
Please join us when we reconvene the Quick Consultation Council on Thursday, November 6th at 1:00pm AEDT!
Are you currently facing an implementation challenge and you could use the guidance of a peer/colleague to navigate it? The Quick Consultation Council is for you! Especially if you are an early- or mid-career researcher or implementation professional, this session is intended to help you build connections and identify solutions that will advance your efforts!
This QCC is being offered by the EQUitable Implementation research and Practice (EQUIP) Network in partnership with GIS. Professor Helen Skouteris (EQUIP Principal Mentor and GIS Board Director) and Dr Michelle Gooey (EQUIP member and Public Health Physician) will co-host this event, which is being planned with, for, and by early and mid-career researchers, practitioners and Lived Experience Experts to learn from one another and build their research and practice network.
This is an opportunity to learn about other implementation programs around the world, meet your fellow members and build a community of practice, share your success stories, and share any challenges you are facing with real-life practical suggestions and guidance from your peers. This is a chance for brand-new perspectives, as well as a chance for GIS to highlight you for your hard work.
If you are interested in sharing your obstacles or successes or even an interesting article, please fill out the brief questionnaire linked to this event – it should take less than 5 minutes of your time. The next Quick Consultation Council will be held at this Google Meet link on Thursday, November 6th at 1:00pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time.
