In an effort to increase Global Representation and progress GIS’s mission, we are seeking applications for host locations for future meetings! We invite individuals, organizations, and institutions to advance your work through GIS support of any in-person meeting or event in which you are involved. You can propose ANY meeting in ANY place by simply filling out the form found here (https://forms.gle/XGVPbXkq2SRZy5pCA).
Hosting in-person events shines a light on your organization and the community you work in, and it gives your peers the chance for some time together with an expanded and engaged network. Help your community come together by hosting a meeting. Ready for your next project? Submit a proposal for GIS support of an in person meeting, a regional conference or even the next Global Implementation Conference.
All proposals will be considered. For those events that are supported by GIS, you will have access to seasoned staff members experienced in event planning and support. What does this mean in real terms for you? If you think you have a good location, are committed to helping plan an exciting in person meeting/event, or have ideas for gathering people together to share and explore information and ideas in implementation science, SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION TO HOST! Your experience or availability in regards to planning conferences is not a factor.
