This interactive webinar series will explore Implementation Science, Theory, & Praxis across sectors with the Professional Learning and Resource Committee of GIS. The first webinar on June 13, 2024 will dive into the Latest Trends in Implementation: A Practitioner Perspective.

You are encouraged to participate whether you are new to the field of implementation or an experienced researcher. The Implementation in Practice webinar series was designed to have relevance for practitioners across sectors and with varied experience levels. This webinar series will capitalize on closing the gap between research and reality and creating accessible avenues for all working to create lasting positive impact in our communities.

Our Experts & Leaders

Jenice Pizzuto is a systems, change, and implementation expert. She is the founder of IMPACT Lead Succeed and author of Implement with IMPACT. Jenice is a passionate advocate and ally for leaders focused on bringing human and learning-centered design elements to the forefront of all change efforts. Her vast experiences nationally and internationally as a consultant, administrator, Learning Forward Learning School Alliance Facilitator, Oregon Response to Instruction and Intervention Implementation Facilitator, Literacy Coach, Mentor, District-level Support Specialist, and Teacher have contributed to her commitment to a learning and improvement mindset. Jenice uses her experience and expertise as she consults with and serves nonprofits, businesses, school districts, superintendents, administrators, and teacher leaders as a facilitator, trainer, coach, and collaborator, implementing evidence-based practices to improve student and organizational performance.

Ms. Pizzuto currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Global Implementation Society (GIS). She was a founding member of GIS and served as the Professional Learning and Resources Committee Chair. Jenice spent many years serving Learning Forward. She helped form the Learning Forward Oregon Affiliate and served as president and vice president of the Oregon affiliate. Jenice received an award of Lead Mentor while serving as a mentor teacher and has been recognized as Women of Week by the Woman Supporting Women, Kastl Law P.C.

Ms. Pizzuto received her Master of Education Administration, MA ED, from Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education in Portland, Oregon. She received her Teacher Licensure from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.

 

Shaheryar Naveed serves as an Assistant Professor at the Public Administration Department and is the Director of Centre for Learning Excellence at Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. With over seventeen years of experience in academia, Corporate and development sector, Dr Naveed Holds a PhD in Management Sciences focused at Organizational behavior. His area of research is Leader member exchange and capacity building. Dr Naveed has Numerous global Publications, book chapters, Projects on his credit. He plays a pivotal role in advancing staff development through training initiatives and continuous learning practices. Driven by a commitment to enhance efficiency, he also harnesses technology to facilitate these endeavors.

Dr Shaheryar's esteemed career includes serving as a Master Trainer and HR Consultant across various governmental and non-governmental organizations, both on national and international fronts.
